2011 started much like this season did. Everyone had high hopes of returning back to the state championship for a chance to get back what was taken after a heart breaking loss to Central in the previous year's state championship. "Return and Finish" was the anthem of the team. Dillon went through the regular season with little trouble at all. The Wildcats offense scored a total of 471 points while the Nastycat defense only allowed 12 points. The first two playoff games wasn't much different. Dillon outscored Manning 52-6 and Swansea 45-3. Then there was the third playoff game. The classic Dillon vs Timberland game. Dillon would be defeated by a score of 18-15. So here we are with nearly a month to go before regular season starts and anticipation has begun to fill the air. People are already talking about this year's team, how this could be a special year. But the biggest question of all is, can Dillon live up to the hype? I believe they can and will. The team must believe, play hard, stay positive, keep a level head, and more than anything have HIGH EXPECTATIONS.
