Dillon 35 Latta 6

OFFENSIVE MVP- ANTHONY BLUE
DEFENSIVE MVP- DAMU FORD

Week 2 is in the books and boy what a week. Enter Latta High, a team that rarely saw a touchdown last year, much less victories. Enter Dillon High, a team that went 12-1 last year, returned 16 starters this year, four being recruited at the D-1 level. Thinking blowout, right? How about a 14-6 game at the half? Never would have thought that, huh? Well, that's exactly what happened Friday night. Latta came in fired up and ready to play. The first half, Dillon looked like the underdog, giving up yards and eventually a TD, while the Latta Vikings held Dillon to just 2 TD's. Dillon, however, came out the second half and scored 3 more touchdowns to pull away from Latta, making the final score 35-6. Without Jabo Lee in the game this week and Joe Blue not being at 100%, Anthony Blue moved from his DB position over to RB position. And what a good move that was. He ended up with 2 touchdowns on the night therefore making him the UODWB Offensive MVP of the week. As for the Defensive MVP that will have to go to Damu Ford who has already received one early this season. He continues to play hard each week, making some tremendous hits and getting his teammates fired up at just the right moment. Congrats to Tara G who was 5 for 5 on PATs.
