GAME OVER??

As a child, I loved to play video games. Though I never had the most advanced games on the market, I still loved to play. I can remember my first video game. It was the Odyssey 2 by Magnavox. Back then there were only two games that I knew of. The Odyssey and Atari. Now that I think back, there was another one called Intellicast. These were all console games that you hooked up to the TV to play. The only handheld game I ever had was a football game that was nothing more that a few red blips (is blips a word?) on a screen where you had to maneuver your red blip down the field to score. Man, those were the good old days. As I got older computers were invented and of course games were created to play on your PC. As I played these games, I would find myself starting at the first level and for a while, I wouldn't get much further. As time went by, I would get better and better, and I would move further along in the game; level 1, level 2, level 3 and so forth. The more I advanced in the game, sometimes the more frustrated I would get. Almost to the last level and "Aw Man, Game Over" Then of course, I'd start over, just to try and get back to that level that beat me before. It wouldn't take long before I would beat that one, but then, just like before, the next level would get me. Game Over. Friday nights game with Timberland is kinda like my story. A year ago, Dillon advanced through the levels to make it to the Lower State championship game with Timberland. We played hard but we didn't win. Game Over. So you started over at level 1 this year. Made it through level 2, then level 3. Now you've made it back to the same level you made it to last year. Lower State Title Game. Dillon vs Timberland. You're almost to the final level. Play hard! Play smart! Advance to next level! GO CATS!!
