BIG GAME FRIDAY NIGHT: DILLON VS LORIS

There's going to be an all out war Friday night down in Loris as the Wildcats look to knock off region foe Loris Lions. Both teams come into the match up with an unblemished record of 8-0. The theme of Friday night's game will be Dillon's offense against the Loris defense. The Loris Lions has been stout on defense giving up only 23 points total in 8 games or an average of 2.9 pts. per game. Dillon, on the other hand, has scored 372 total points in  8 games or an average of roughly 46 points per game. Dillon's defense has not been lights out as they have been in the past but have managed to only give up an avg. of 11 points per game and looking more like the Nastycat defenses of the past.
Game Breakdown:
According to scfootballhistory.com Dillon holds a 12-1 record over Loris.  Last year the Cats beat Loris by a score of 44-0. In 2013, Dillon and Loris played twice. Once in regular season and once in the 2nd round of the playoffs. These two match ups were close with Dillon winning by scores of 21-14 and 21-7.
Mullins and Marion are the only two opponents that both Dillon and Loris have in common this year. Dillon managed to put up more points on both teams. Waccamaw  was able to keep the Lion offense out of the endzone, but with a kickoff return for a TD, a fumble return for a TD, and a lack of offense on the warriors part, Loris was able to get the win.

What Dillon must do:
Dillon's Defense must step it up this game. They must play a physical, hard nosed, smash mouth football game. Make Loris go 3 and out on every possession. Loris will pass the ball, so pressure the QB and make him make mistakes. Special teams must stay in there lanes and shut down all possibilities for long returns.
Dillon's Offense must continue to do what they've done all year. Move the ball. This will be the best defense the Cats have seen all year. Utilize all of Dillon's weapons.
