Click the GREEN ARROW below for directions to the stadium. The quickest route is I-95 to Manning (Exit 122). It is the longest but the quickest. Watch out for deer though. Once you get through Manning, it's all backwoods. It has been reported that Seafood plates will be sold at the game for $15. The I-95 route doesn't take you by anywhere to eat unless you stop off in Florence or Manning. As far as I know right now, there is no live stream for the game. They do broadcast live on WTUA Power 106.1, but there is no internet stream for this station.

GAME OVER??
As a child, I loved to play video games. Though I never had the most advanced games on the market, I still loved to play. I can remember my first video game. It was the Odyssey 2 by Magnavox. Back then there were only two games that I knew of. The Odyssey and Atari. Now that I think back, there was another one called Intellicast. These were all console games that you hooked up to the TV to play. The only handheld game I ever had was a football game that was nothing more that a few red blips (is blips a word?) on a screen where you had to maneuver your red blip down the field to score. Man, those were the good old days. As I got older computers were invented and of course games were created to play on your PC. As I played these games, I would find myself starting at the first level and for a while, I wouldn't get much further. As time went by, I would get better and better, and I would move further along in the game; level 1, level 2, level 3 and so forth. The more I advanced in the game, sometimes the more frustrated I would get. Almost to the last level and "Aw Man, Game Over" Then of course, I'd start over, just to try and get back to that level that beat me before. It wouldn't take long before I would beat that one, but then, just like before, the next level would get me. Game Over. Friday nights game with Timberland is kinda like my story. A year ago, Dillon advanced through the levels to make it to the Lower State championship game with Timberland. We played hard but we didn't win. Game Over. So you started over at level 1 this year. Made it through level 2, then level 3. Now you've made it back to the same level you made it to last year. Lower State Title Game. Dillon vs Timberland. You're almost to the final level. Play hard! Play smart! Advance to next level! GO CATS!!
Dillon vs Timberland: 2012
I published this video back in April 2012. Thought I would post it again. It seems so fitting.
You just got tackled by a girl!!
Tara Grimsley, Dillon's female kicker, made a touchdown saving tackle in the game against Loris Friday night. Dillon had just scored a touchdown to take the lead 14-7 and Tara kicked the ball off to Loris. Loris ran a reverse, sending the runner down the sideline. There was only one person to beat. That would be Tara. She made the tackle saving what was probably a turning point in the game. After the tackle, Dillon's Nastycat Defense went on to hold the Lions to a FG attempt which was blocked.

Playoffs - Round 2
Dillon will take the field Friday night against the Lake Marion Gators of Santee in round 2 of the 2A Division 1 playoffs. Dillon comes in with a record of 9-1, while Lake Marion comes in at 6-5. Lake Marion possesses one of the most lethal passing attacks in the state. QB Deriante Jenkins has amassed a whopping 2954 yds (168 completed of 278 attempts) and 23 TDs. This makes him the #2 quarterback in the state. Mike Williams, a Clemson commit, is his favorite target. He has 50 Rec, 1230 yds and 11 TDs. These stats are through Oct.31 listed at HSSR.com. They also have the top tackler in the state in Tevin Sweat.
Jabo Lee will return to play in Friday night's game according to Jackie Hayes. Lee has been out since the first game of the season due to an injury. He did return briefly in the Loris game before leaving with another injury. Coach Hayes also says that both Avery McCall, freshman qb, and Thomas Grossetti, senior qb, will rotate and whoever has the hot hands will get more playtime.
If Dillon can win, they will play the winner of the Loris/ Battery Creek next week at Dillon.
